There are many social networking sites on the internet today. These sites exist to serve the many varied interests of their members and this is why there are so many groups out there.

Pilot Lounge was created to serve the interests of the aviation community.

While we are open-minded and try to refrain from moderating content, all the same, we will remove content that is inappropriate for this site. We don't like to have to monitor content but the nature of the internet leaves no choice. We want you to have a safe and fun experience without having to worry about such distractions.

Inappropriate content may include:
Blogs or photos that may be offensive to other members.
Blogs or photos that are purely for the purpose of promoting a business or livelihood that has nothing to do with aviation or the aviation community.

This does not mean that you cannot post personal or family photos or post a blog about your family. However we do not want to see photos of beer-bongs with your friends or anything that can be construed as pornography. We will also not accept blog posts with links to innappropriate sites that are posted purely for the purpose of improving your Google rankings.

Pilot Lounge will also not tolerate spammers who create accounts here so that they can spam other members. Such individuals will be removed immediately upon discovery along with all of their posts and messages.

In the rare occasion that it becomes necessary, innappropriate content will be removed and you will be notified. Continued abuse of these guidelines will result in revocation of your membership on Pilot Lounge.
