Guess I'm getting old, Gates. I've been flying the same plane for the last 18 years, and have never been unable to get insurance for it. As a consequence, I completely forgot about adding the insurance costs into the mix. So I got on the phone today, and should have some quotes in the next day or so. Soon as I winnow through all the numbers, I'll post the results. Sorry 'bout that.

Okay, got the info on the insurance. Zero-time pilot in a Cessna 150 will have to add $100.00 per month for full coverage insurance (100,000/1 mil./1mil. and hull). After he gets his ticket, that will drop to around $83.00 per month. That's Avemco.
